A FEW FUN THINGS TO DO on Pine Island!!!

**We took this beautiful picture at the very tip of our Island (Bokeelia side). There is nothing like these views!!**

1. Tropical Point Park- One of our fav spots because it screams island life. It’s a small beach area where you can relax, swim, spot dolphins, fish and launch small boats and kayaks.
2. Gault Preserve- Great hiking spot, wildlife watching.
3. Pineland Monument Park- Beautiful views, a very small spot to swim, put your toes in, fish, launch kayaks
4. Island Girl Charters- The ferry to take over to the beaches (Captiva and Cabbage Key). You can reserve right online. Great and worth it!
5. Spots Ice Cream and CW Fudge- Ice cream, sweet treat spots.
6. Matlacha Community Park- Cool spot, great views, boat/kayak launch, basketball courts, playground
7. Pine Island community park and pool - fun community pool with diving boards and slides, big park, tennis courts, pickleball courts
8. Bokeelia Fishing Pier - currently under construction but amazing views out there
9. Monroe Canal Marina - Great spot to rent boats and fishing gear
10. Favorite restaurants - Micellis, Yucatan, Blue Dog, Phuzzys, Low Key Tiki, Perfect Cup, Eagles Nest, Kickstands, and so many more. Most have live music playing and great views.
11. If you love to thrift– Pine Island Community Church thrift and Beach of hope! Great finds there.
12. Island Bikeworks - You can rent electric bikes here, which is so much fun and well worth it to explore.
13. Tropic Star Cruises & Captain Randi Island Tours - Private boat charter out to the nearby barrier islands/beaches
14. Several food trucks are so fun!
15. Matlacha strip- Such a cool spot to park, sightsee and shop!
16. During season (usually starts January 1st or so)- we have a cool farmers market right next to our community, located in church parking lot. Every Thursday 12-6
17. Matlacha Fishingist Bridge in the World! - You will see many people hanging out and fishing. Such great views
18. Matlacha Bat House- Another great fishing spot right next to the bridge. *****And sooooooo much more****
